Tiera began her career in 2005 as a paramedic. While she loved the independence of the job and the ability to help people, there was also a wealth of untapped creativity and artistic skill inside her.

She remembered how, as a child, she loved to bake cakes for others. Tiera recalled, as a teen, finding her mother’s high school home economics sugar cookie recipe. Now, as an adult, she began baking as a way to give outlet to her artistic creativity and to make people smile.

As Tiera was raising her children, she was also baking for bake sales. She became known for her intricately designed and whimsical custom cookies, cakes, and cupcakes. “You should open your own bakery!” people kept telling her. And when the time was right, she replied, “Okay. I will.”
